Malaysia Airlines has been a proud member of the Oneworld airline alliance since 2013. The airline first took to the skies over 70 years ago, in 1947 as Malayan Airways Limited. However, due to Singapores independence in 1972 the carriers assets were split to form Singapore Airlines and Malaysian Airlines.
Just like the logo it uses of a wau bulan (traditional Malaysian kite design), this airline has been through its ups and downs over the years but remains resilient. They have managed to diversify into providing ground operations such as airline leasing, catering and engineering to name but a few
